The Red Rock Referral Network (RRRN) is a great Verde Valley and Sedona, Arizona business networking organization. The RRRN is built to be a referral engine which sends local customers to you.
The group meets on Thursdays. the second and fourth week of every month at the Heartline Cafe at 7AM.
The format of the group is very focused. Members have name badges and guests receive a sticker with their name on it. A breakfast buffet is provided. Meeting attendees get their coffee and breakfast and the RRRN starts shortly after with the President of the RRRN beginning with the group introduction.
Each member gets a 60-second Sales Sizzle in which the member stands, states their name, their business, and what services or products that they sell. Then guests are invited to follow suit.
The President then explains the organization’s mission in gathering referrals for one another. A 3-ring binder book is passed around the room so members can remain stocked-up on other members (and guests) business cards.
Two RRRN members are pre-selected to give a 10-minute presentation on a topic of their choice each. Some members provide hand-outs, bring a slide-projector, or other multi-media to demonstrate what they do.
Completed referral slips are then passed out to the owners to reach out to their new leads.
Members fill out green slips of paper to generically track how much income the group generates for each seat. Unlike Chamber Events or other Business Networking Groups, the RRRN is very structured and focused on driving new referrals for one another.
Red Rock Referral Network Testimonials
Emily Griffin, CPA, MST
I started my career with the Detroit Office of Coopers & Lybrand, now Pricewaterhouse Coopers. It was a wonderful opportunity for me as they also put me through graduate school. I am a CPA with a masters degree in taxation. I work with clients all over the country and in Canada, planning and returns for all business types. We assist with monthly bookkeeping and payroll as needed. When we came to Sedona, I joined the Red Rock Referral Network (RRRN). It has truly been a blessing as I have met many business owners through the RRRN and have had many new clients referred to us from those members. It is an important part of my business networking, especially being able to refer someone I know. The Red Rock Referral Network allows me to take care of my clients.
Being a member of Red Rock Referral Network has been beneficial in many ways. Not only has it helped me grow my business through quality referrals from the group, I have built strong relationships with other professionals in the community with whom I feel very comfortable referring my clients to. Red Rock Referral Network is a great group filled with amazing people.
I’ve been a freelance graphic designer in Sedona, AZ for 20+ years. With a degree in Applied Design and a minor in Colour Theory, my studio MargoBdesignLLC has a reputation for client satisfaction, creativity and results. Red Rock Referral Network connects you with different kinds of business owners for referrals, you get to know your community and learn industry standards.
The Red Rock Referral Network provides members the opportunity to form strategic partnerships with other members who are in a complementary field. For example, a realtor member may start sending referrals to a mortgage broker member and landscaper member. You can quickly see how members help one another grow their business, locally.
The power of the RRRN is its members’ willingness to promote each other’s businesses in Sedona and the greater Verde Valley. Each member has a book of other members business cards to feature in their waiting rooms, to hand out on job sites, and at other events. In our small towns, your business will start getting a buzz on a regular basis.
At each meeting every RRRN member gets the opportunity to do a 60-second sales sizzle. You stand up, give your name, and tell everyone about your business. 2-members are preselected and given a 10-minute period to discuss whatever topic they want. You can make a sales presentation or offer advice from your field to further establish yourself as a knowledgable expert.
